Alliance photo library
To cut down on administrative time for our member organizations, the Alliance maintains a Flickr pool of photos that are free for member use. If you're part of an Alliance member organization, you are welcome to use any photos, so long as you attribute to both the photographer if they are listed (located in the image title or description) and to Alliance for Biking & Walking.

Photo Image Library (Pedestrian & Bicycle Information Center)The Pedestrian and Bicycling Information Center (PBIC) maintains a vast library of digital photo images. They are free for public use, but please abide by their usage guidelines.

Photos of Bike/Ped & Community Design (David Drdul)Over the years, Richard Drdul has assembled a collection of bicycle and pedestrian related photographs. David has made 150 of these photos available for anyone to download. These photos are provided under a Creative Commons "attribution/share alike" license, which essentially means you're free to use the photos provided that you a) attribute them to "Richard Drdul," and b) make any derivative works publicly available.

When taking photos of identifiable subjects for use in your organization's materials, you may want to obtain permission from the subject. In the case of minors, the law requires such permission. Here is a sample general photo release form, and a photo release form for minors from the Alliance for Biking & Walking.
