To cut down on administrative time for our member organizations, the Alliance maintains a Flickr pool of photos that are free for member use. If you're part of an Alliance member organization, you are welcome to use any photos, so long as you attribute to both the photographer if they are listed (located in the image title or description) and to Alliance for Biking & Walking.

Photographic Advice (Dan Burden)

Dan Burden, the legendary bicycling and walking champion and master image taker (his photos have appeared in numerous publications, including National Geographic), posted to the Walkable Topica List (October 23, 2004) on his advice on taking and processing digital photos. We captured the post and it's available for download here.
