Employee handbooks and manuals set forth your organization's personnel policies including benefits, paid leave and time off, appropriate code of conduct, and other expectations. Developing an employee handbook or manual is important for organizations with two or more staff so that you maintain consistency with all employees and so that expectations are clearly established at the time of hire.
