Combatting the Myth that Complete Streets are Costly - 8/29/2012 (Alliance)
alliance-for-biking-and-walking-logoA common concern among decision makers in state and local government is that implementing Complete Streets policies will cost too much. This can even occur when there has been enough political buy-in to establish a Complete Streets policy. On our August 29, 2012 Mutual Aid Call, our panelists discussed several strategies for responding to that concern, with tips from the National Complete Streets Coalition and examples from Kansas City and New Jersey.
