Safe Routes to School Promotional Materials (Brochure and Public Service Announcements)

This publication promotes BikeTexas' Safe Routes to School program. Radio public service announcements (PSAs) were developed by BikeTexas for the use from schools participating in Texas Bike and Walk to School Day. The four PSAs have different focuses, including health and safety, and are meant to be read on the radio or on TV.

Innovative Bike/Ped Education and How to Promote It
Educational programming for people of all ages gives new active transportation and recreation enthusiasts the skills and confidence they need to incorporate biking and walking into their daily routines. It's crucial to get the word out about these opportunities to new audiences, too. On this Mutual Aid Call from December 2012, panelists LeeAnne Fergason, Marc Caswell and Dan Allison discussed innovative educational programs that encourage youth, adults and families to make biking and walking a part of their lives — as well as strategies to bring more people to your classes and workshops.

Neighborhood Program Final Reports
These reports from St. Paul Smart Trips summarize the implementation and impact of the Smart Trips Neighborhood Program in three St. Paul neighborhoods: Union Park, Summit-University and Highland Park.
