One weekend. Over 120 biking and walking advocacy leaders. A beautiful Pennsylvania retreat center. Combine these ingredients and you get the 2014 Alliance Leadership Retreat, a dish packed with energy-rich peer learning, skillsharing, and movement-wide growth.
The Retreat led one advocate to write in an evaluation, "The networking, relationships built, and the best practices discussed at the Leadership Retreat re-energized me to lead our movement locally."
Another leader commented, "I appreciated the broad representation of bike/walk advocates. Participants were willing to share experiences, both positive & negative. This took shape on an individual, small group, and large group setting. The movement is fortunate that such a dynamic exists."
Another simply wrote, "I didn't know I needed this."
