Laura Solis, winner of the 2014 Susie Stephens Joyful Enthusiasm Award
It’s that time of year again! Please nominate stand-out advocacy leaders in your community for the 2016 Advocacy Awards!
To recognize excellence in the bicycle and pedestrian advocacy movement, the Alliance has held the Advocacy Awards since 2009. Last year we honored Keith Holt, Jeff Miller, the San Francisco Bicycle, Bike East Bay, REI, and Bike Walk RVA – a program of the Sports Backers.
This year we’re donning our sparkles alongside the League of American Bicyclists and will co-host an Awards Gala on the opening night of the 2016 National Bike Summit & Women’s Forum. The Awards Gala will recognize the many people and organizations who are working to improve bicycling in their communities and help make active transportation a part of peoples’ lives.
Please help us recognize inspiring and excellent people, organizations and campaigns by making a nomination today! (Don’t be fooled – though the Awards traditionally happen during the National Bike Summit, we accept nominations representing both walking and biking.)

- Advocate of the Year Award
- Advocacy Organization of the Year Award
